Biological Environment

North of the pipe outlet: low turfing algae (mainly Corallina with some Ulva and Gelidium), limpets (Cellana), barnacles (Chamaesipho) and Galeolaria casings.

Rock platform rock pools: Hormosira, mats of Corallina, encrusting Ralfsia, oysters and barnacles.

Upper intertidal: Nodilittorina unifasciata.

Lower intertidal to subtidal: Sargassum and Phyllospora.

Subtidal: Kelp (Ecklonia radiata).
